Uganda is considering ways to implement the Egyptian experience in teacher training

Minister of Education and Technical Education Tariq Shawqi on Thursday held a meeting with Sam Koluba, the High Commissioner for Education at the Ugandan Ministry of Education and his accompanying delegation, to discuss the possibility of transferring the "Teachers First" project to Uganda.

This came in the presence of Reza Hijazi, head of the public education sector, David Firebrain Day, director of the program "Teachers First", and Hamish Hjenson, educational expert of the program, and a number of directors of the Egyptian schools participating in the program.
