Egyptian Petroleum signs two agreements to drill 4 exploration wells in Western Sahara

The Egyptian Petroleum Authority (EPC) and the Egyptian National Petroleum Exploration and Development Company (EEPDC) have signed two agreements to search for oil and gas in Egypts western desert.

  The Ministry of Petroleum said in a statement on Thursday that the agreements provide for the drilling of four exploration wells in the areas of southeastern Abusnan and southeast of Ras Qattara in Western Sahara with a minimum investment of $ 4 million.
