The government borrows 41.25 billion pounds from banks in a week

This week, the Ministry of Finance plans to borrow from banks to finance the budget deficit through debt instruments worth an estimated LE 41.25 billion.
A report issued by the Public Debt Department at the Ministry, which saw "Sadi Al Balad" a copy of it, said that it entrusted the Central Bank of Egypt with the task of borrowing on its behalf through three weekly bids of treasury bills and bonds.
The ministry seeks to borrow through the treasury bills mechanism for "91, 273, 182 and 364" days with an estimated value of 37.25 billion pounds during Sunday and Thursday of this week.
